What are local listings?

Sites like Google, Bing, Yelp and others search the web for business names, phone numbers
and addresses. They use this info to create listings that display in local search results.

Incomplete listings are bad for business.

Local listings are great for consumers and businesses, but there's a catch: Unless you set up and manage your own listings, these sites may pick up your old address, a wrong phone number or just leave sections blank — and that kind of missing or inaccurate information costs you customers.

Managed Local Listings saves you time and stress.

When you're running your own business, you don't have time to monitor and manage local listings across multiple websites. You need someone to run them for you, and that's where we come in.

Our experts make sure your business gets found by search engines and that all the top online resources, from local listings to online maps, have accurate, up-to-date information for your business.

How it works.

Most small businesses can't afford to have someone dedicated to their local web presence.

Frequently asked questions

How does Managed Local Listings work?

Our experts will audit your business’ online listings. Within 2-3 business days, you’ll get a welcome call from a member of our onboarding team to discuss their findings and get the correct information. Then, we’ll publish any changes and complete your local listing profiles. From there, you’ll receive a follow-up report each quarter so you can see the results.

Who is Managed Local Listings for?

Businesses who have local service areas (such as plumbers, food trucks, landscapers, dog walkers, etc.) and brick and mortar businesses (such as restaurants, dry cleaners, spas, salons, etc.) will benefit most. We’re not yet able to serve businesses that don’t have a physical address to share, but that’s coming.

What kind of information can you publish about my business?

Your name, address and phone number (NAP) are the most important items. Inconsistencies in NAP can cause big penalties and lost rank with search engines like Google. Beyond NAP, we can publish your business description, website address, hours of operation, menus and price lists, item photos and descriptions, payment and delivery options, amenities and more.

Where will my local business listings appear?

We've established partnerships with some of the top consumer destination sites online. Currently, we publish to Google, Bing, Yelp, TripAdvisor, YP, Foursquare, Citysearch, Merchant Circle, YaSabe, and many other smaller sites that vary by industry. We're continually expanding our list of partners and will notify you as soon as we add more places to publish.

How long will it take for my business listings to appear?

After you review and approve your information, we’ll share it with our network of partner sites. Some will publish your local listing in as little as a few days; others may take up to eight weeks.

Will Managed Local Listings bring me new customers or more business?

Having complete, accurate business listings across key websites, directories and search engines is vital to increasing the visibility and traffic to your business. However, since every business is unique, we cannot guarantee that Managed Local Listings will bring more customers and sales. Check out more about how to get found online.
